The village of Voatavo on RN7 in southern Madagascar. This is a typical small village along the main artery, RN7, that runs down the central highlands.

A village along RN7. I’ve lost track of where this was, though it was probably close to Adranovorivato. Notice the terraced fields in front of the houses.

Waiting at the Vulca
Waiting at the vulca (tire repair shop). In the countryside, a tire puncture is just an eventuality. You’ll find vulcas in most towns to keep the vehicles moving. This one was in Ranohira near the famous Isalo National Park.
